Miramont-de-Guyenne vers Roumagne et Saint-Pardoux-Issac
Traced in the Dourdenne valley, a tributary of the Dropt river, this circuit connects three villages and three churches. Miramont-de-Guyenne first, famous for its shoe industry, but also for the richness of its historical heritage, is one of the most interesting cities in the area. This old bastide developed considerably from the 13th century, with a regular grid layout, with the market hall and the church occupying the centre. Roumagne also has a rich archaeological, prehistoric and ancient heritage, as well as several churches and castles; That of Frémauret, slightly off the circuit, is an old fortified mill from the 12th century. This circuit will make you discover the old parish of Saint-Pardoux today linked to its annex Isaac as well as its 13th century church dedicated to Pardoux Abbot of Guéret in the 7th or 8th century.
