Le retable de l'église Saint-Etienne

The altarpiece and the pulpit of the Saint-Etienne de Lauzun church were made in the 17th century. This furniture was installed in the Récollets convent before being moved after the French Revolution. The central painting of the famous altarpiece Saint-François d'Assise receiving the stigmata, on the model of the representations given at the beginning of the 17th century by the Flemish painter Pourbus the Younger by Rubens. They have been classified as Historic Monuments since 1910 and have been fully restored since January 2012.
